With a wealth of experience in education, Coach Lundy has taught in Catholic, private, and public schools, specializing in dance and competitive drill teams. Under her guidance, her teams have achieved remarkable success, clinching local, state, and national titles. She has also taught culinary arts.
Coach Lundy earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies, with a minor in Dance, Music, and Family and Consumer Science, from Sam Houston State University. Before embarking on her teaching career, she displayed her entrepreneurial spirit by founding and managing five businesses. After her children grew up, she sold several of her ventures to pursue her dream of completing her college education, exemplifying her commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth.
A former athlete, Coach Lundy, has experience in sports as well as competition; she was a competitive dancer, played basketball, ran track, competed in softball, and cheered before ultimately transitioning to drill team. When asked, “Why do you teach?” she enthusiastically responds, “I want to make a difference in my students' lives by showing them that with hard work, anything is possible.” Her teaching style is marked by a positive, caring, and collaborative approach, inspiring her students to strive for their best.
Coach Lundy made her First Communion at St. Anne and is excited to be back where her faith journey began.
