Zully Webb has taught French and Spanish to Saint Anne students for the past 6 years, teaching for 4 years previously in Mexico. She brings a multitude of knowledge to the school with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima (Peru) and a Master of Science in International Administration (MSIA) from Central Michigan University. She holds teaching credentials for foreign language from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and is furthering her studies at this time to receive a Texas teacher Alternative Certification for Spanish and Math (grades 6-12).
Zully enjoys reading religious books and watching movies/documentaries about religious topics. She loves the challenge of a 1,000-2,000-piece jigsaw puzzle and learning new languages. Biking and walking are both activities she, her husband, and 3 girls do to spend time together. The family is blessed with the addition of a Shi Tzu named Amber.
She was drawn to get involved in the Catholic school setting because of her strong Catholic faith. As a mother of 3 girls, she wanted to be a part of Catholic formation for children, as she believes that all children should be fully formed, intellectually and spiritually. “It is so important to help students not only excel in the core subjects, but also to have a sense of identity and purpose while keeping Jesus as the center of their lives. Throughout their formative years, the students in our school are reminded of the presence of our Lord and practice Christian virtues as their faith strengthens daily. Catholic formation is at the center of our Church’s mission and is a constant reminder of our main goals in life, to love and serve the Lord and to eventually reach Heaven.”
